Violent clashes in Rakhine State have left dozens dead and whole communities destitute without access to food or shelter.
It has been reported that thousands of people have fled their homes in search of safety.
According to the World Food Programme, 162,000 people are facing food insecurity and 78,000 people are in need of immediate food assistance.
